The Brevard Zoo is another great place to learn about local wildlife. Located 30 minutes from Cocoa Beach, the Brevard Zoo is an open-air environment that allows visitors to interact with the animals. The zoo also offers train rides, kayak tours, and aerial activities.

The museum also offers a Children’s Museum and summer camps for young children. It also hosts educator resources such as classroom materials and podcasts. Admission to the museum is free.
